The State Officer Certification Examination — Corrections is a 200-question Pearson VUE exam for the FDLE Criminal Justice Standards & Training Commission. It is the final certification step for Florida correctional officers after completing an approved basic recruit training program.

Candidates must score at least 80% on the SOCE Corrections to certify as a Florida correctional officer. The exam has 190 scored questions plus 10 unscored field-test items administered on a timed basis of about four hours.
