Can You Take the Red Seal Cook Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements
- •Complete a recognized cook apprenticeship, or qualify to challenge the exam with sufficient documented hours of trade experience
- •Meet your province or territory's apprenticeship authority requirements and apply to write the Interprovincial (Red Seal) exam
- •Pay the applicable provincial exam fee
- •Achieve at least 70% on the Interprovincial Standards Examination to earn the Red Seal endorsement
