Paralegal Rules of Conduct: conflicts, confidentiality, retainers, undertakings, fees, withdrawal, advocacy limits, scope of practice, duties to the Law Society, and cultural competence
Constitutional structure and Charter basics, court organization, jurisdiction, business/property/consumer fundamentals, and evidence principles (relevance, hearsay, privilege, expert notice)
Small Claims Court pleadings, service, settlement conferences, motions, default and costs; negligence and intentional torts; contract formation, defects, and remedies
Provincial Offences Act streams and classifications, Highway Traffic Act offences, bail and pleas, summary conviction process, Charter timing motions, sentencing and diversion within paralegal scope
