Master First-Year DoctrineYou are here
Build a solid command of the three tested subjects using your 1L coursework: Contracts, Torts, and Criminal Law. The FYLSE tests general common-law and MBE-style principles, not California distinctions.
Drill MBE-Style Multiple Choice
The entire exam is 100 bar-style multiple-choice questions. Practice released and simulated questions in Contracts, Torts, and Criminal Law, reviewing every wrong answer to learn the rule and the trap.
Timed Full-Length Simulations
Take full 100-question timed sessions to build pacing (about 1.8 minutes per question) and stamina for the single 3-hour session. Track accuracy by subject and shore up weak areas.
