Can You Take the CQT Exam?

No formal degree required; relevant post-secondary education may offset experience requirements.
Experience
4 years of full-time, paid on-the-job experience in one or more CQT Body of Knowledge areas. Candidates previously certified as CQE, CQA, CRE, CSQE, or CMQ/OE may apply experience from those certifications.
Additional Requirements
  • Experience must be in paid, full-time roles; part-time and volunteer work do not qualify.
  • CQT is an open-book exam — candidates may bring their own printed or bound reference materials.
  • Recertify every 3 years by earning 18 recertification units (RUs) via continuing education, professional activities, or re-examination.
