The allowed reference is Simplified Irrigation Design by Pete Melby (2nd edition, 1995). NMAC 14.6.6 MS-6 requires two years of experience and covers potable-water sprinkler systems, excavation, backflow prevention devices, and incidental plug-in electrical control panels and control wiring not to exceed 24 volts.
