About the FE Electrical & Computer Exam
The FE Electrical and Computer exam is one of seven NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering disciplines and the first formal step toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure. The 110-question, computer-based test is administered year-round at Pearson VUE centers. Passing earns the Engineer Intern (EI) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) designation and qualifies candidates for the PE Electrical exam after they complete the required engineering experience.
