About the Ellinomatheia A2 Exam
The Certificate of Attainment in Greek A2 (Pistopoiitiko Ellinomathias Epipedou A2) certifies elementary Modern Greek proficiency at CEFR A2. It is issued by the Centre for the Greek Language (KEG) — the official Greek state body under the Ministry of Education. The A2 exam tests all four skills: reading, listening, writing, and speaking, plus grammar and vocabulary (Use of Language). It is internationally recognised and accepted for work, study, and residency purposes in Greece and Cyprus, including the A2 vocational-purposes variant for migrant workers.
