About the Bulgaria Theory Test B Exam
Bulgaria's Category B theory test is the computer-based knowledge exam for passenger-car driving-licence candidates. Ordinance No. 38 of 16 April 2004, as amended through State Gazette No. 77 of 2024, sets a 97-point maximum and a pass mark of at least 87 points, with 40 minutes allowed. IAAA publishes the official Category 1 theme bank used for Categories AM, A1, A2, A, B1, B and T. Category B vehicles are motor vehicles with maximum authorised mass not exceeding 3,500 kg designed to carry not more than 8 passengers plus the driver. The official sitting is available in Bulgarian and in other languages published on the IAAA website, including English. This bank is an English-language MCQ study adaptation, not an official translation or a substitute for the live IAAA terminal.
