Where do the TX Pesticide Applicator terms come from?
OpenExamPrep researched each term from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) content outline and primary sources, listed under Sources on this page. The game is independent study material, not an official exam resource.
What exams are required for Texas pesticide applicator certification?
You must pass the General Standards exam and at least one category exam with 70% or higher; the aerial category does not count on its own. How often must Texas pesticide applicators renew certification?
Commercial and noncommercial licenses are renewed every year with 5 CEUs, including one credit each from two of three areas: laws and regulations, integrated pest management, or drift minimization. Private applicator licenses last five years and need 15 CEUs, including 2 in laws and regulations and 2 in IPM.
