Why do a 20% increase and a 20% decrease not cancel?
They use different bases. Multiplying by 1.20 and then 0.80 gives 0.96, a net 4% decrease.
Which features remain unchanged when a figure is rotated but not reflected?
Its side lengths, angles, connectivity, and clockwise order remain unchanged. Its absolute orientation changes, but its handedness does not.

'For.' Learn prepositions as part of fixed combinations: responsible for, capable of, interested in, and comply with.
When is present perfect preferred over simple past?
Use present perfect for an unfinished time period or a past event linked to the present: 'She has completed three drills this week.' Use simple past with a finished past time: 'She completed one yesterday.'
What does past perfect show when two past events are mentioned?
It marks the earlier event: 'The briefing had ended before the transport arrived.' The later event normally uses simple past.
What happens to the object when an active sentence becomes passive?
The object becomes the grammatical subject, and the verb becomes a form of 'be' plus the past participle: 'The team checked the aircraft' becomes 'The aircraft was checked by the team.'
What usually changes when direct speech is reported later?

Which conditional form describes a real future possibility?
The first conditional: if + present simple, then will + base verb—for example, 'If visibility improves, the flight will depart.'
When should you use 'fewer' rather than 'less'?
Use 'fewer' with countable plural nouns ('fewer errors') and 'less' with uncountable amounts ('less fuel'), subject to established expressions such as 'less than ten minutes.'

An inference combines specific textual evidence with a necessary or strongly supported conclusion. A guess cannot point to evidence that makes it more likely than alternatives.
What can dimensional analysis prove—and what can it not prove?
Matching dimensions are necessary for a physical equation, so a mismatch proves it wrong. Matching dimensions do not prove it fully correct because numerical factors or dimensionless terms may still be wrong.

Not in the commissioned-officer advertisement reviewed for this set: it lists English and Physics for GD(P), while Mathematics is named for the aeronautical-engineering academic test. Because recruitment cycles can change, verify the current notice rather than assuming an older pattern.
What medical or physical thresholds should a GD(P) candidate use?
Use only the thresholds printed in the current PAF advertisement and the instructions issued for that recruitment cycle. Pilot medical, vision, height, fitness, and documentation rules can be branch- and cycle-specific, so this set deliberately does not freeze them into evergreen flashcards.
How is ISSB different from the PAF initial test?
The initial Intelligence and Academic Tests are earlier PAF screening stages. Official ISSB material describes a later four-day, three-dimensional assessment by psychologist, GTO, and Deputy President dimensions; ISSB recommendations then go to the service headquarters, which prepares the final merit list.
Does ISSB's 120-day rule define the retake wait for the PAF initial test?
No. ISSB currently states that a Not Recommended candidate is ineligible if tested again within four months, and that selection-board validity is one year. Those are ISSB-stage conditions, not proof of a fixed retake interval for the earlier PAF GD(P) initial test.
