Because the examination software enforces individual time limits for each subtest, unused time from the Reading section does not carry over into Mathematics. Once your 57 minutes expire—or once you submit the Mathematics section—you cannot return to review or change any math answers.

• Competitive BSN Programs: Often require overall composite scores of 78% to 85%+, with subsegment cut-offs in Math and Science around 75% to 80%.
• ADN / LPN Programs: Frequently require composite scores between 60% and 70%.
• Individual Component Requirements: Some competitive programs enforce strict minimum cut scores specifically for Mathematics (e.g., minimum 70% in Math), regardless of your overall composite score.

Your official ATI score report provides your Individual Score (percentage correct), an Adjusted Total Score, a National Percentile Rank, and a Program Percentile Rank comparing your performance against peer applicants across the country.

Whether you test in person at an institutional testing center / PSI location or remotely via ATI or institution live proctoring, the testing interface provides specific tools:
