Explaining radon health risk (21,000 annual lung cancer deaths, smoking synergy), the 4.0 pCi/L action level, required test protocols, and recommending testing approaches
Selecting the lowest level suitable for occupancy, multi-foundation test planning, factors that impact results (weather, HVAC, combustion appliances), and inspecting existing mitigation systems
MAH-2023 placement rules (3 ft from doors/windows, 1 ft from exterior walls, 20 in above floor), 12-hour closed-building lead time, 48-hour minimum duration, and field QC
