Turning the Assessment Into Decisions

The assessment is only worth the time if it changes something. It should drive four decisions:

  1. Product selection. A low-volatility salt formulation instead of an ester near sensitive crops; a shorter-residual product ahead of a sensitive rotational crop; a selective product where beneficials matter.
  2. Buffers and no-spray zones. Apply the label's stated buffer, then add margin where the site warrants it. Mark the boundary physically if the operator will not be able to see it from the cab.
