If You Think a Question Is Wrong

DOPL provides a formal challenge path, and knowing it is worth points of peace of mind:

  1. Use the feedback button available on every question during the exam. Feedback must reference an article in the code book and state the answer you believe is correct; feedback that does not meet that standard is not reviewed.
  2. If you did not leave feedback during the exam, submit a Comment/Challenge form to DOPL within 15 days of completing the exam.
  3. Allow 15 days for a response on a failed exam; if a score change is merited you are notified by email.
  4. Critical: if you retake a failed exam on which you submitted an appeal or left feedback, you forfeit the appeal for that attempt. Wait for the ruling before rescheduling.
