Graduate of a Canadian paramedic program approved by a regulated jurisdiction or listed by Accreditation Canada, an internationally educated candidate cleared through COPR's assessment process, or a candidate approved by a Canadian paramedic regulator
Experience
Clinical practicum completed during PCP education
Additional Requirements
  • Official transcript, certified graduation certificate, or signed registrar letter confirming program completion, submitted at least 14 calendar days before the exam
  • No more than three attempts within 12 months of program completion unless a provincial regulator signs an Eligibility Confirmation Letter
  • Provincial registration, licensure, or certification requirements are set separately by each regulator

Retake Policy

COPR limits candidates to three attempts within one year (12 months) of successful program completion. Beyond that, candidates need an Eligibility Confirmation Letter signed by the provincial regulator, and provincial limits may differ.
