About the ZIMSEC Grade 7 Science & Technology Exam
Science and Technology (7150) is an independently coded ZIMSEC Grade 7 subject on the June 2026 examiner-recruitment notice and the official 2026 Grade 7 time-table. The official 7150/1 specimen paper shows a composite scope: agriculture (water sources, farm tools and machinery, soil properties, pest control, crop rotation, nutrient deficiency, livestock and poultry), science (food chains, plant and seed structure, vertebrates, the water cycle, disease, circuits, friction, weather instruments, energy sources, photosynthesis and the respiratory system) and ICT (programs, computer viruses, spreadsheet formulas, cloud computing, careers and online security).

Missing one component of the subject means no result under ZIMSEC exam regulations.

ZIMSEC Grade 7 Science & Technology Study Tips from Top Performers
Frequently Asked Questions
What is ZIMSEC Grade 7 Science and Technology 7150?
It is the national Grade 7 Science and Technology examination administered by ZIMSEC. Code 7150 appears on ZIMSEC’s June 2026 examiner-recruitment notice.
Does this include agriculture?
The official 2026 exam name is Science and Technology 7150. Junior science and technology content includes plants, animals, soil and water. Treat agriculture ideas as part of that official learning area, not as a separately coded 2026 Grade 7 exam.
Are these official exam questions?
No. They are free study questions written for this site. Official Science and Technology Paper 1 is genuinely a 40-item four-option multiple-choice paper, so the item type matches, but these are not ZIMSEC papers and they do not cover the Paper 2 structured tasks.
Does the exam test ICT?
Yes. The official 7150/1 specimen paper devotes its closing section to ICT: what a program is, effects of a computer virus, ICT roles, spreadsheet formulas, software maintenance, cloud computing benefits and security, robotics careers and identifying Microsoft application interfaces.
What should I study first?
Start with plants, animals, soil and farm practice, then materials and energy, then environment and health, and finish with everyday technology and ICT from the MoPSE junior Science and Technology syllabus.
When is the 2026 Grade 7 Science and Technology exam?
Paper 1 is sat on Friday 25 September 2026 in the 0900 hrs morning session and Paper 2 follows in the early-October block of the same official time-table. Grade 7 results are published in the last week of November 2026.
