About the WY-TOPP Science Grade 10 Exam
The WY-TOPP (Wyoming Test of Proficiency and Progress) Summative Science assessment for Grade 10 is Wyoming's required statewide high school science test, administered by the Wyoming Department of Education during the spring window (April 14 - May 8 in 2026). It is built on the 2026+ Science Assessment Blueprint approved by the State Board of Education on September 19, 2024 and aligned to the reduced 2023 Wyoming Science Content and Performance Standards, operational on WY-TOPP from the 2025-26 school year. The blueprint weights Physical Science at 33-38%, Life Science at 33-38%, and Earth and Space Science at 26-31%, with engineering and design embedded across all three strands. Results are reported as a scale score and one of four performance levels, with Proficient beginning at 1001. Because the science standards were reduced, WDE ran a new data-validation and standard-setting process for spring 2026 and released official science results in fall 2026; individual student reports for science no longer include domain-level reporting. Please note: this practice bank is an English-language multiple-choice study adaptation created by OpenExamPrep, not an official test form.
