The examination is open book. Prov lists USD 59.95 per attempt (West Virginia Contractor Licensing Board Candidate Information Bulletin dated 2026.05.07). The bulletin uses the Master Plumber contractor definition: installation, maintenance, extension, and alteration of piping, fixtures, appliances, venting, and water-supply systems, including gas piping, chilled-water piping, hot-water heating piping, and standpipe piping.
