1An offence is committed with a company truck, but the driver cannot be identified. Under ZPrCP Article 8, who is penalised?
A.Nobody, because an offence can be punished only if the police identify the driver at the scene
B.The driver who uses the truck most often according to the company's records
C.The owner or holder of the right of use (for a company, its responsible person), unless they prove otherwise
D.The insurance company that covers the truck's third-party liability
Explanation: ZPrCP Article 8 provides that if the offender cannot be identified, the owner or holder of the right to use the vehicle is penalised unless they prove they did not commit the offence. Where the owner is a legal person, its responsible person is penalised.
2A colleague who has no Category C licence asks to move your truck across a public road. What does ZPrCP Article 8 say?
A.You must not allow it, because the vehicle may not be entrusted to a person who may not drive it
B.You may allow it for a distance of less than 500 m, as long as you sit beside the colleague and supervise
C.You may allow it if the colleague holds a Category B licence and the truck is completely empty
D.You may allow it if the employer gives written permission and the colleague has some driving experience
Explanation: ZPrCP Article 8 forbids the owner, the holder of the right of use and the driver to whom the vehicle was entrusted from enabling or allowing anyone who may not drive that vehicle, or who shows signs of unreliable behaviour, to drive it.
3In which case must an authorised officer prohibit further driving and exclude a truck from traffic under ZPrCP Article 17?
A.When the driver is running more than ten minutes behind the delivery schedule shown in the transport documents
B.When the tachograph shows that the driver split the 45-minute break into 15 and 30 minutes
C.When the cab interior is dirty and the driver's seat cover is worn
D.When the load is unlawfully loaded or secured
Explanation: ZPrCP Article 17 requires an authorised officer to prohibit further driving and exclude from traffic a vehicle whose load is loaded or secured contrary to the law, or which in winter conditions lacks winter equipment or carries snow, ice or other substances that could affect handling or fall off.
4A police officer has justified reasons to believe a truck driver is not capable of driving safely. What must the officer do under ZPrCP Article 21?
A.Note it in a report and let the driver continue to the destination
B.Prohibit the driver from driving any further
C.Escort the truck to the nearest rest area at reduced speed
D.Allow driving to continue if a co-driver signs the consignment note
Explanation: ZPrCP Article 21 obliges a police officer to prohibit further driving when a person drives without the right to drive that vehicle or when the officer has justified reasons to believe the person is not capable of driving it.
5A saliva test shows a psychoactive medicine that the truck driver takes on prescription. What follows under ZPrCP Article 106?
A.A control medical examination; if it confirms use as prescribed, the driver is not treated as under the influence
B.Nothing at all, because prescription medicines never affect a person's ability to drive safely
C.Automatic cancellation of the licence, because every psychoactive substance counts as an illegal drug
D.A fixed fine, after which the driver may continue the journey without further checks
Explanation: Under ZPrCP Article 106, a driver in whose blood or saliva psychoactive medicines are found is referred to a control medical examination. If it shows the medicine was used according to the prescribed therapy and the doctor's instructions, the driver is not considered to be under the influence.
6A pedestrian walking alone carries a white cane. What does this tell you?
A.The person is a road worker marking the edge of a work zone
B.The person is elderly and has priority only on pedestrian crossings
C.The person is blind, so take special care and be ready to stop
D.The person is a school-crossing guard who may stop traffic at any point
Explanation: ZPrCP Article 85 requires blind pedestrians who take part in traffic on their own to use a white cane. Drivers must take special care with them and be ready to stop.
7Up to what age must cyclists and users of light motor vehicles such as e-scooters wear a properly fastened bicycle helmet?
A.Until they turn 14
B.Until they turn 18
C.Until they turn 21
D.Whatever their age
Explanation: ZPrCP Article 34 requires riders and passengers on bicycles and light motor vehicles (except motorised wheelchairs) to wear a properly fastened bicycle helmet until they turn 18. Drivers should expect young cyclists and e-scooter users near schools and in residential areas.
8On a road without a pavement, along which edge must an organised group of pedestrians walk?
A.The left edge, facing oncoming traffic, exactly like individual pedestrians walking alone
B.The middle of the lane, so that drivers can see the group from further away
C.Whichever edge offers more space at the time
D.The right edge of the carriageway, in their direction of walking
Explanation: ZPrCP Article 83 requires an organised group of pedestrians, and a pedestrian pushing a single-track vehicle or handcart, to walk along the right edge of the carriageway in their walking direction when they cannot use a pedestrian area. Individual pedestrians normally walk on the left edge.
9After a collision involving your truck, one person is slightly injured. Which duty applies?
A.No police notification is needed for a slight injury, so exchanging details is enough
B.You may leave once you have exchanged details with the injured person
C.You must clear the vehicles away and continue your delivery
D.You must stay at the scene, help the injured person and notify the police or the emergency centre
Explanation: An accident with at least one slightly injured person is a category II accident. ZPrCP Article 110 requires participants to stop, secure the scene, help the injured, notify the police or the notification centre, and remain at the scene.
10While manoeuvring, your truck damages a parked car whose owner is not present. What must you do?
A.Nothing, as long as the damage is only a small scratch
B.Provide your personal details to the injured party, for example by leaving them at the car
C.Wait beside the damaged car until the owner returns, however long it takes
D.Report it only to your employer, who will contact the owner later
Explanation: ZPrCP Article 110 requires a participant in a damage-only accident to give their personal details to the person who suffered the damage; if that person is not at the scene, the details must still be passed on to them. Leaving without doing so is an offence.

Slovenia Theory Test C: Suggested Study Strategy

1Practise the 5-point priority items (junctions, roundabouts, signal-controlled junctions) carefully: two wrong 5-point items fail the test even if your total is above 88%.
2Read every answer option: some AVP items have more than one correct answer, and you score only if you mark all of them.
3Learn the EU driving-time figures exactly: 9 hours a day (10 hours twice a week), 56 hours a week, 90 hours in two weeks, a 45-minute break after 4.5 hours (or 15 + 30), and 11 hours of daily rest.
4Memorise Slovenian truck limits: 80 km/h over 3.5 t (70 km/h with a heavy trailer), a maximum height of 4.20 m, a width of 2.55 m (2.60 m for conditioned bodies), 18 t for a two-axle truck and 40 t for five-axle combinations.
5Remember that drivers of Category C1 and C vehicles must have no alcohol at all in the body, even on private trips.
