The Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) is the centralised route used by Singapore's Ministry of Education to admit international students into mainstream primary and secondary schools. AEIS Secondary assesses English and Mathematics for the level preceding the level a student applies for. The English test combines a written composition with 50 compulsory multiple-choice questions covering reading comprehension, cloze passages, vocabulary and grammar.
