Poland's category AM theory exam is a 25-minute WORD computer test with 32 questions: 20 yes/no basic questions and 12 specialist questions with three answers. You need 68 of 74 points. The minimum age is 14, and candidates under 18 need written parental consent. These independent English practice questions cover the same road rules but are not the official catalogue.

It has 32 questions in 25 minutes and a pass mark of 68 of 74 points, and WORD offers it in Polish, English and German as well as Polish Sign Language. Poland Category AM Theory Test: Suggested Study Strategy

1Learn the exam numbers: 32 questions, 74 points, 68 to pass, 25 minutes.
2Remember that mopeds and light quadricycles may not use motorways or expressways.
3When carrying a child up to 7 on a moped, keep to 40 km/h and make sure the child wears a helmet.

How much does the exam cost?

Since 1 January 2026 each voivodeship sets its own WORD fees. WORD Warszawa charges 56.98 PLN for the theory exam.
