It is a mandatory requirement for applicants seeking admission to MS, MPhil, and PhD programs at public and private sector universities in Pakistan, as well as for those competing for HEC-funded national and international scholarships. The test evaluates candidates in three main areas: Verbal Reasoning (English vocabulary, analogies, sentence completion, comprehension), Quantitative Reasoning (basic arithmetic, algebra, geometry, data interpretation), and Analytical Reasoning (logical deduction, spatial/ordering puzzles, and patterns).
