For 2026, study D/DE as a Patenti Superiori bus theory exam: 40 computerized questions, 40 minutes, and a maximum of 4 errors. MIT distinguishes D from D1 by passenger capacity and length, and distinguishes DE by the trailer over 750 kg. Professional passenger transport generally needs CQC in addition to the licence, so this bank teaches the Patente D/DE theory topics while keeping CQC as a separate qualification.
