About the UP Lekhpal Exam

The UPSSSC Lekhpal Main Examination recruits Revenue Lekhpals (राजस्व लेखपाल) for village-level land records and revenue work in Uttar Pradesh. The Main written paper is a 100-mark objective test lasting 120 minutes with four equal sections—General Hindi, Mathematics, General Knowledge, and Rural Development & Rural Society (25 questions each). There is negative marking of 0.25 marks per incorrect answer. Eligibility requires Intermediate (Class 12) qualification plus a valid UPSSSC PET scorecard.
