About the JKSET Exam
The Jammu and Kashmir State Eligibility Test (JKSET) is conducted by the University of Jammu (Nodal Agency) to determine eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor in universities and colleges of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. The exam is conducted in offline pen-and-paper mode and consists of two papers containing multiple-choice questions. Paper I evaluates general teaching and research aptitude, whereas Paper II evaluates the candidate's mastery in their chosen post-graduation subject.
