About the HSSC CET Exam
The HSSC Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Group-C posts (Advt. No. 01/2025) is the statewide gateway exam for most non-teaching Group-C recruitments in Haryana. Per the official advertisement on hssc.gov.in, the paper has 100 MCQs for 100 marks in 1 hour 45 minutes, is bilingual (English & Hindi), and is conducted offline on OMR sheets. Qualifying marks are 50% for General and 40% for Reserved categories. Syllabus Appendix-C covers General Awareness, Reasoning, Quantitative Ability, English, Hindi, Computer Knowledge, and Haryana-specific GK (policy weightage: 75% general domains + 25% Haryana topics).
