About the LCVP Link Modules Exam
The LCVP Link Modules — Preparation for the World of Work and Enterprise Education — are the vocational core of Ireland's Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme. They are studied over two years at common level and assessed as a single unit by the State Examinations Commission: a Portfolio of Coursework (60%) and a Terminal Examination Paper (40%). Preparation for the World of Work covers local working life, job-seeking (including CV and interview skills), career investigation and work placement or shadowing. Enterprise Education develops enterprise skills, investigation of local businesses and voluntary/community organisations, and planning and evaluating an enterprise activity. The terminal paper includes an audio-visual section, a case study issued in advance, and general questions. Grades are Distinction, Merit or Pass and may attract CAO points. This practice bank offers original multiple-choice concept questions on the programme's knowledge and skills — it does not simulate portfolio products or reproduce SEC papers.
