Junior Cycle Classics (Ireland) is a common-level NCCA/SEC subject on ancient Greece and Rome (myth, daily life, epic, Rome, language option, material culture). Students take Strand 1 plus Strand 2 or 3 (~200 hours minimum). Assessment: two CBAs (reported on the JCPA) plus a 2-hour written paper of stimulus responses; the written exam is about 90% in the specification with an Assessment Task about 10%, but for the 2026–2028 sittings the Assessment Task is not examined and the SEC grade is based on the written exam only (students complete a minimum of one CBA). 2026 JC entry about €109 (medical-card exemptions). Grade descriptors, not pass/fail. This free 100-question bank is an MCQ study adaptation—the real exam is not multiple choice.
