About the Junior Network Administrator Exam

Network Administrator Muda (Junior Network Administrator) is an Indonesian national occupational competency certification issued by BNSP through licensed LSPs. The scheme is a KKNI Level 4 okupasi package of five competency units drawn from SKKNI Kepmenaker No. 321 Tahun 2016 (Bidang Jaringan Komputer): designing network addressing, installing wireless networks, configuring switches, configuring routing within one autonomous system, and configuring routing between autonomous systems. Certificates are valid for three years.

Exam sponsor: BNSP-licensed LSPs, including LSP TIK Indonesia (BNSP-LSP-018-ID) and LSP Media Informatika (BNSP-LSP-2121-ID). The requirements and fees below concern the certification or admission exam, separate from our free practice resources.

Assessment

The candidate submits FR.APL.01 (application) and FR.APL.02 (self-assessment) with supporting evidence, an assessor verifies the portfolio, and the assessment session at a licensed Tempat Uji Kompetensi (TUK) then applies written, oral/interview and practical-observation methods against each unit's performance criteria.

Time Limit

How is the competency assessment conducted?

SKKNI No. 321 Tahun 2016 specifies assessment at a Tempat Uji Kompetensi, simulation room or workshop using oral questioning, interview, written testing and other relevant methods. In practice a BNSP-certified assessor combines a written knowledge test, a technical interview and practical observation of the candidate configuring addressing, a switch, a wireless device and routing.

What does the assessment cost and how long is the certificate valid?

Fees are set per LSP, not nationally: LSP TIK Indonesia publishes Rp 900.000 for this scheme (excluding transport, accommodation and tax) and LSP Media Informatika publishes Rp 600.000.
