Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the new 'Digitális kultúra' exam and the former 'Informatika' exam?
Digitális kultúra is the current subject name and succeeds the former Informatika examination. The current detailed requirement defines practical work in word processing, graphics, presentations, spreadsheets, databases, web publishing, algorithms, and programming.
How is the practical exam administered at középszint and emelt szint?
At középszint, the 180-minute computer practical is worth 100 points: word processing 25, visual elements 20, spreadsheets 25, databases 15, and algorithms/programming 15. At emelt szint, the 240-minute practical is worth 120 points and follows the task combinations specified in the official description.
What is the grading scale and passing threshold for the Digital Culture Érettségi?
A candidate needs at least 25% overall and at least 12% in both the practical and oral parts. Középszint grades are 25–39% = 2, 40–59% = 3, 60–79% = 4, and 80–100% = 5. Emelt szint grades are 25–32% = 2, 33–46% = 3, 47–59% = 4, and 60–100% = 5.
What programming languages are permitted in the practical examination?
Candidates use the programming language and development environment selected and made available under the official examination arrangements. The detailed requirement defines the programming competencies rather than guaranteeing one universal language list for every site.
What does the oral examination cover?
The oral lasts 15 minutes and is worth 50 points at középszint; it lasts 20 minutes and is worth 30 points at emelt szint. Candidates present and discuss a selected topic and may have to demonstrate a programming solution as specified for the level.
Why does this practice question bank use an English-language multiple-choice format?
The official exam requires open-ended computer production and an oral response. This independent English-language MCQ bank reviews choices, concepts, and troubleshooting, but it is not an official-format simulation and cannot replace timed work in the required applications or oral practice.
What database skills appear in the official requirements?
The requirements include creating and maintaining tables, choosing data types and keys, importing data, defining relationships, filtering and sorting, calculations, and queries. SQL creation and modification tasks appear where the level-specific column requires them.
