About the Saxony Abitur Spanish Exam
Sachsen Abitur Spanisch is the Freistaat Sachsen state Abitur examination in the Fremdsprache Spanisch, taken as a fortgeführte Fremdsprache Leistungskursfach under SMK Verwaltungsvorschriften. Following the sächsische Lehrpläne Spanisch and KMK EPA/Bildungsstandards for the fortgeführte Fremdsprache, it assesses funktionale kommunikative Kompetenz — especially Sprechen (praktischer Prüfungsteil), Schreiben and Sprachmittlung in the written paper — plus interkulturelle Kompetenz and Textkompetenz. The written Klausur allots 285 minutes; the LK speaking part is a separate Partnerprüfung. This free 100-question MCQ bank trains the underlying language system and content knowledge: indicative and subjunctive verb systems, ser/estar and por/para, idiomatic and thematic vocabulary, reading comprehension, mediation logic, Partnerprüfung interaction judgment, and Landeskunde on Spain and Hispanoamérica.
