What is the algemeen bekwaamheidsattest bewakingsagent?
It is the statutory Belgian competence attestation created by the Royal Decree of 23 May 2018, art. 14. You need it to work as a bewakingsagent on general guarding activities listed in the Wet of 2 October 2017, art. 3, 1°, 7°, 9° and 13°, and to obtain a five-year private-security identification card from FPS Home Affairs.
Is this English practice bank the official exam?
No. Official training and exams are delivered in Dutch, French or German as a mixed written-and-practical pathway, including a Werkenvoor.be/SELOR legal test. This bank is a free English-language multiple-choice study adaptation, not an official translation or a simulation of SELOR or centre practicals.
How many hours and what pass mark apply?
The recognised course is 139 lesson hours. You must score at least 50 percent on each examined subject. The 4-hour social-relations module has no exam. You may sit exams at most four times, including resits, and must finish within two years of the first lesson.
Who examines the legal modules, and what does that test look like?
Only Werkenvoor.be (SELOR) may administer and mark the law and fundamental-rights modules (KB art. 55). The examen recht is a computer-based test of 30 multiple-choice questions with points deducted for wrong answers, allowing 15 minutes for instructions and 1 hour for the test, with a maximum of four attempts. Your training centre enrols you; those exam costs are billed to the centre, not published as a candidate tariff.

Only if you will carry out cash-in-transit, valuable-goods transport on the public highway, or ATM cash-cassette work under art. 3, 3° a), b) and d). That is a separate 127-hour attest, not an add-on to the general attest.
