Yes. The game is free to play with no sign-up. Signing in adds AI explanations for any term.
How do the ASWB Bachelors vocabulary games work?
There are 4 games built on 20 ASWB Bachelors terms. In Guess the Term, a clue describes one term and you have six tries to spell it, with green, yellow and gray letters showing how close you are. In Term Match, six terms appear as colored tiles; swap neighbors to line up three or more of the same term, and each match shows what the term means. In Term Pairs, twelve face-down cards hide six pairs of terms; flip two at a time to find each pair, and every pair you find shows what the term means. In Term Search, five terms hide in a grid of letters, reading across, down or diagonally; drag across a term to circle it, and each term you find shows what it means.
Where do the ASWB Bachelors terms come from?
OpenExamPrep researched each term from the ASWB content outline and primary sources, listed under Sources on this page. The game is independent study material, not an official exam resource.
What changed for the ASWB Bachelors exam in 2026?
Since August 3, 2026, the Bachelors exam follows a three-area blueprint: Values and Ethics (35%), Assessment and Planning (33%), and Intervention and Practice (32%). The exam went from 170 total items (150 scored + 20 pretest) to 122 (110 scored + 12 pretest), the four-hour time limit is unchanged, and a higher proportion of items have three options and test applied professional judgment.
Who is eligible to take the ASWB Bachelors exam?
Candidates need a BSW from a CSWE-accredited program (or a substantially equivalent international program) and approval to test from the social work licensing board in the jurisdiction where they will be licensed. Most states require a completed application, background check, and any state-specific jurisprudence material before approving the candidate to register with ASWB and schedule at a Pearson test center.
