Can You Take the TX NJE Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements
- •ALL RN and LVN applicants (initial licensure AND endorsement) must pass the NJE
- •Initial-licensure applicants must pass the NJE before the Authorization to Test (ATT) for the NCLEX is issued
- •The BON states that NJE results remain on file and do not have to be completed again
- •Criminal background check required
- •The exam may be retaken once 24 hours have elapsed; the BON publishes no cap on attempts
