TAB work involves energized equipment, rotating drives, pressurized fluids, heights, chemicals, moving air, and restricted spaces. Rotating equipment and air handlers

Ladders and elevated work
Inspect ladders, use a stable level base, face the ladder, maintain secure contact, keep within side rails, and protect the setup from doors or traffic. OSHA's non-self-supporting ladder angle provision sets the horizontal distance at approximately one-quarter of the ladder working length. When a ladder provides access to an upper landing, meet the required extension or secure grasping arrangement.
