Why area math dominates the exam

Area questions are the most common math on the national salesperson portion. They test whether you can multiply dimensions, convert units, and split irregular shapes. The single rule that prevents most errors: convert every measurement to the same unit before you multiply. Mixing feet and yards, or feet and miles, produces answers that are off by large factors and match a tempting wrong choice.

A lot measures 90 ft by 120 ft.
