Phase 2: Ethics and Professionalism
Study the five Domain II principles of the Global Internal Audit Standards (Integrity, Objectivity, Competency, Due Professional Care, Confidentiality), professional skepticism, and continuing professional development.
Phase 3: Governance, Risk Management, and Control
Apply governance concepts, organizational culture, risk types, risk appetite and tolerance, risk management and internal control frameworks, and control types.
Phase 4: Fraud Risks and Practice Simulations
Cover the fraud triangle, fraud schemes, red flags, anti-fraud controls, internal audit's fraud investigation role, and run timed practice sessions.

Global Internal Audit Standards Domain II — Ethics and Professionalism: five principles (Integrity, Objectivity, Competency, Due Professional Care, Confidentiality), objectivity impairments and safeguards, professional skepticism, and continuing professional development.

CIA Part 1
Active IAP holders can apply for the CIA without the education prerequisite — the passed CIA Part 1 carries forward, so only Parts 2 and 3 remain.
IIA CRMA
Active IAP designation holders are eligible to apply for the CRMA program; five years of internal audit experience (or equivalent) is required to become certified (IIA Certification Candidate Handbook).
