Can You Take the CAP Exam?
Check if you meet the basic eligibility requirements
- •Bachelor's degree + 2 years (3,536 hours) relevant admin work experience, OR
- •Associate's degree + 3 years (5,304 hours) relevant admin work experience, OR
- •High school diploma + 4 years (7,072 hours) relevant admin work experience
- •All experience must be earned within the past 10 years
- •Relevant experience includes organizational communication, business writing, proofreading/editing, and administrative functions
- •IAAP membership is NOT required to take or maintain the CAP credential
