Zambia School Certificate / GCE Principles of Accounts (7110) is the Examinations Council of Zambia ordinary-level accounts subject. The 2024 Ministry of Education Forms 1–4 syllabus covers accounting concepts and ethics (including the role of ZICA), the accounting equation, double-entry and ledgers, books of prime entry, the trial balance, capital and revenue items, sole-trader financial statements, accounting ratios, year-end adjustments, bank reconciliation, errors and suspense, control accounts, depreciation, non-profit accounts, partnerships, incomplete records, manufacturing accounts, and manual versus electronic data-processing systems. Official assessment is two written papers: 7110/1 (1 hour) and 7110/2 (2 hours, calculators permitted). The 2026 School Certificate diet runs from 30 October to 17 November 2026.
