The OSTP Grade 7 English Language Arts assessment measures student proficiency against the Oklahoma Academic Standards for English Language Arts across five reporting categories: Reading and Writing Process, Critical Reading and Writing, Vocabulary, Language, and Research. Grade 7 gives Research a heavier weight (14-20%) than most other grades.
