About the CCEA GCSE Construction Exam
CCEA GCSE Construction and the Built Environment is Northern Ireland’s unitised GCSE in construction (2017 specification, subject code 0006, QAN 603/1372/9). Students study industry knowledge, sustainable construction technology, a craft project and CAD. Units 1 and 2 are external written examinations; Units 3 and 4 are controlled assessments. Grades run A* to G.
