Frequently Asked Questions
How much internship is required?
The Council FAQ and 2019 guidelines refer to at least nine months for examination eligibility. The April 2026 notice requests evidence of internship completion. Follow the current sitting's requirements and confirm eligibility with the Council; passing the examination does not replace completion of required training and logbook obligations.
When are the examinations held?
Dates are announced by the Council. Do not treat the 2019 February/June/October pattern as guaranteed: 2026 notices document March and July sittings.
What language can candidates use?
An explicit examination-language policy was not verified. Check permitted response languages with the Council. English application requirements and Swahili announcements do not by themselves establish assessment-language availability.
