1Which sentence follows TDK rules for suffixes attached to institution names?
A.Belge Adalet Bakanlığı'na gönderildi.
B.Belge Türk Dil Kurumu'ndan alındı.
C.Belge Ankara Üniversitesine gönderildi.
D.Belge Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi'ne sunuldu.
Explanation: Suffixes attached to institution names are generally written without an apostrophe. The ordinary proper-name apostrophe rule must therefore be distinguished from this institutional-name rule.
2Which Turkish auxiliary-verb compound is written as one word because combining its parts produces sound changes?
A.Kaydolmak
B.Terk etmek
C.Fark etmek
D.Ziyaret etmek
Explanation: Kayıt and olmak combine as kaydolmak, with vowel loss and a consonant change. The other listed compounds retain their separate spelling.
3One clerk processes 40 files in six hours and another processes 40 in three hours. At constant rates, how long do they need together for 60 files?
A.Two hours
B.Four hours
C.Four and a half hours
D.Three hours
Explanation: Their combined rate is 40/6 + 40/3 = 20 files per hour. Processing 60 files therefore takes 60/20 = three hours.
4For a hypothetical distribution, claims of TRY 50,000, TRY 70,000, and TRY 80,000 have already been admitted to the same rank and share proportionally. Net available proceeds are TRY 100,000. What does the TRY 70,000 claimant receive?
A.TRY 25,000
B.TRY 35,000
C.TRY 40,000
D.TRY 70,000
Explanation: Total admitted claims are TRY 200,000, so proceeds cover half of each claim. The relevant allocation is 70,000 × 100,000/200,000 = TRY 35,000; the question assumes rank has already been determined.
5Which Atatürk principle is most directly associated with rejecting privileged social classes and emphasizing equality of citizens?
A.Devletçilik
B.İnkılapçılık
C.Halkçılık
D.Laiklik
Explanation: Halkçılık emphasizes the people, equality, and rejection of class privileges. It should be distinguished from the economic emphasis of statism and the institutional separation associated with secularism.
6A historical account treats abolition of the sultanate and abolition of the caliphate as one event in November 1922. Which correction is needed?
A.The caliphate was abolished separately by Law 431 in March 1924
B.The sultanate continued until the 1926 Civil Code
C.Both offices were abolished when the Assembly opened in April 1920
D.The caliphate was abolished by the 1876 constitution
Explanation: The sultanate was abolished in November 1922, while the caliphate continued until the separate March 1924 legislation. Law 431 expressly abolished the caliphate; the two institutional changes should not be collapsed into one event.
7Which classical Ottoman official is particularly associated with affixing the tuğra and maintaining land-register records?
A.Kazasker
B.Defterdar
C.Kaptan-ı Derya
D.Nişancı
Explanation: The nişancı was associated with the imperial monogram and the relevant chancery and land-register functions. Treasury, senior judicial, and naval responsibilities belonged to other offices.
8Which constitutional feature is protected by the prohibition on amendment in Article 4?
A.The current numerical minimum candidacy age for deputies
B.The Republic's democratic, secular, social rule-of-law characteristics in Article 2
C.Every detail of presidential election procedure
D.Every rule on parliamentary committee membership
Explanation: Article 4 protects the provisions of Articles 1, 2, and 3 from amendment or proposals to amend them. It does not make every later constitutional rule unamendable.
9A creditor files a şikâyet challenging an execution-office act. Does filing alone generally suspend execution?
A.Yes, every complaint suspends every step
B.Yes, but only if the complaint names a monetary amount
C.No; suspension requires the competent court's order under the applicable rule
D.No court has authority to suspend execution
Explanation: İİK Article 22 distinguishes a complaint from an automatically suspensive ordinary objection. The court can order suspension, but the filing itself does not generally produce it.
10An execution office unjustifiably refuses to perform a duty needed to give effect to a right. How does İİK Article 16 treat the complaint period for that refusal?
A.Such a complaint may be brought at any time
B.The ordinary seven-day period always bars it
C.It can be raised only after the creditor obtains a new judgment
D.It must wait until the entire execution ends
Explanation: Article 16 provides an unlimited complaint route for nonperformance of a right or unjustified delay. This exception must be distinguished from an ordinary challenge to an execution act.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do four wrong answers cancel one correct answer?

No. The 2026 İCRA guide explicitly disregards wrong answers. Correct responses enter the guide's standardized, weighted score calculation.

Is 70 points enough for appointment?

No. The written minimum is followed by vacancy-based ranking and a Ministry oral interview. Consult the current Ministry notice for the quota and all appointment requirements.

Does this replace Turkish or oral preparation?

No. It is independent English-language MCQ study practice, not an official translation, test simulation or substitute for the Turkish assessment and oral interview.
