B.At least once every 5 years, counted from the date the results are entered into the ФГИС СОУТ
C.At least once every 3 years, counted from the date the measurements are taken
D.Every year, counted from 1 January
Explanation: Article 8 requires SOUT at least once every five years unless the Law provides otherwise, counted from the date the results are entered into the federal information system (ФГИС СОУТ); for results containing state secrets, it is counted from report approval. Workplaces covered by a valid declaration of conformity need no repeat SOUT until the Article 11(5) grounds arise.

A.3 years from the date of the test
B.1 year, with annual retesting

D.5 years from passing it and entry of the record in the register
Explanation: Paragraph 36 of the Decree No. 2333 Rules sets the validity of the attestation at 5 years from passing it and entering the record in the register of experts. It cannot be extended; after it expires the expert must pass attestation again, without resubmitting the education and training documents.

C.Within 12 months
D.Within 5 years
Explanation: Article 17(2) sets 12 months for an unscheduled SOUT after newly organised workplaces are commissioned and after changes in the technological process or replacement of equipment. Six months applies to the other grounds: an inspector's order, changes in materials or raw materials, changes in personal or collective protective equipment, an accident or occupational disease, and a motivated proposal of the trade union.

New workplaces and changes in technology or equipment have 12 months, and renaming alone may not require an unscheduled SOUT.

B.Rostrud's register of employers' declarations of conformity

D.Rospotrebnadzor's register of laboratory measurement results

Explanation: Article 8(6) requires the SOUT organisation, before starting work but no later than five working days after concluding the contract, to transfer the required data into the ФГИС СОУТ and obtain an identification number assigned automatically by the system. It must give this number to the employer before work starts, and under Article 15(1.1) the report must show it.
10Under Article 11 of Law No. 426-FZ, for which workplaces does the employer submit a declaration of conformity of working conditions?
A.Workplaces rated class 3.1, to confirm that compensation has been paid
B.Only workplaces of office staff, whatever the SOUT results
C.Workplaces rated class 4, to obtain permission to continue work
D.Workplaces with no factors identified or rated class 1 or 2
Explanation: Article 11 requires the employer to submit a declaration to the territorial body of Rostrud for workplaces where identification found no harmful or hazardous factors, or where measurements rated conditions optimal or permissible. Frequently Asked Questions

What is special assessment of working conditions (СОУТ)?

SOUT is the procedure under Federal Law No. 426-FZ in which a SOUT organisation and its experts identify harmful and hazardous factors, measure them and assign one of four classes of working conditions (optimal, permissible, harmful or dangerous). The results determine guarantees and compensation under the Labour Code.

What is the format of the SOUT expert test?

Under paragraphs 12, 22 and 24 of the Decree No. 2333 Rules, the test is held remotely in Russian with video recording. The applicant answers 40 questions in 40 minutes, choosing one or several correct answers for each, and passes with at least 36 correct answers.

Is there a fee?

No. Paragraph 4 of the Rules states that attestation is carried out free of charge.

Can a failed test be retaken?

How long is the attestation valid?

Five years from passing it and the entry in the register of experts (paragraph 36). An attestation annulled for disqualification, forged documents or disclosure of protected information may be re-applied for only after 3 years (paragraphs 40 and 42).

In what language is the official test held?

In Russian (paragraph 12). This practice bank is an independent English-language MCQ study adaptation of the subject matter, not an official translation or a simulation of the test.
