1A customer requests a medicine whose authorized supply status is prescription-only but presents no prescription. What should the pharmacist do?
A.Dispense it if the customer knows the usual dose
B.Follow the prescription requirement rather than treating the customer's request as authorization
C.Supply it after writing the customer's name on the package
D.Treat a previous purchase receipt as a current prescription
Explanation: Minzdrav Order 100n governs dispensing, and the FMZA prescription and counseling stations distinguish prescription medicines from OTC medicines. Knowing a dose or having purchased a product previously does not meet the applicable prescription requirement.
2Under paragraph 24 of the dispensing Rules approved by Minzdrav Order 100n, how is a prescription issued in violation of the prescribing procedure handled?
A.The pharmacist corrects the prescription without contacting the prescriber
B.The prescription is retained indefinitely without informing the presenter
C.It is marked 'Рецепт недействителен' and returned to the person presenting it
D.The prescribed medicine is supplied first and the prescription checked afterward
Explanation: Paragraph 24 requires the invalid prescription stamp and return to the presenter. It also requires registration of the prescribing violation and notification of the head of the relevant medical organization.
3A valid prescription on form 107-1/у has a validity of up to one year and specifies periods and quantities for repeat supply. After dispensing a scheduled supply, what does paragraph 20 of Order 100n require?
A.Destroy the prescription because any dispensing ends its validity
B.Return it without recording the supply
C.Rewrite it as a new prescription with a new start date
D.Return it with the dispensing information required by the Rules
Explanation: Paragraph 20 provides for returning this repeat prescription with the required dispensing annotation. The specified periods and quantities continue to govern subsequent supply.
4Which information must accompany medicine supply under paragraph 26 of Order 100n?
A.The dosing regimen, home storage rules, and interactions with other medicines
B.The dose alone, leaving storage and interactions to another visit
C.Storage advice alone, leaving the regimen to the customer's recollection
D.The package leaflet alone, without the required pharmaceutical information
Explanation: Paragraph 26 requires informing the recipient about the regimen and doses, storage at home, and interactions with other medicines. A pharmacist should not promise that a medicine is free of adverse effects.
5An authorized medicine's instructions restrict its use to inpatient or day-hospital medical organizations. Which retail-supply decision is consistent with Order 100n?
A.Supply it if the customer promises to follow the instructions
B.Do not dispense it to a citizen as an ordinary retail medicine
C.Supply it because registration alone authorizes every setting of use
D.Supply a full pack because the restriction applies only to divided packs
Explanation: Order 100n prohibits retail supply to citizens of medicines whose authorized instructions limit use to inpatient or day-hospital medical organizations. A customer's agreement does not remove that restriction.
6A prescription is legible and in date, but its form and mandatory particulars have not been checked. Which conclusion best applies the FMZA pharmaceutical-examination task?
A.Legibility alone establishes that the prescription is valid
B.Being in date makes every other prescription requirement optional
C.Validity remains unconfirmed until the applicable form and required particulars are examined
D.The pharmacist may replace missing particulars with information from a previous prescription
Explanation: The FMZA prescription-examination passport assesses the applicable prescription form and its required details, not merely legibility and date. A partial check cannot establish that all conditions for supply are satisfied.
7A medicine's packaging states 'Store at 2–8°C.' What is the appropriate basis for its routine storage?
A.A generic room-temperature rule applied to every medicine
B.The temperature most convenient for the pharmacy's shelving
C.The storage conditions used for another product with a similar name
D.The manufacturer's specified conditions, supported by appropriate monitoring
Explanation: Paragraph 17 of Order 260n requires storage according to manufacturer labeling and/or applicable pharmacopoeial requirements. The numerical range here is supplied in the scenario and is not asserted to apply to all medicines.
8Under paragraph 18 of Order 260n, which monitoring schedule applies to required medicine storage conditions?
A.Daily, including weekends and holidays, with records or an appropriate continuous automated system
B.Only on days when deliveries arrive
C.Only when a worker feels that the room is unusually warm
D.Once a month, without retaining any readings
Explanation: Paragraph 18 requires daily control including weekends and holidays, with recorded results, or continuous automated climate monitoring. It specifies verified measuring devices rather than subjective assessment of room conditions.
9A stock check finds expired medicine mixed with saleable stock. What does paragraph 20 of Order 260n require?
A.Keep it on the sale shelf with a near-expiry flag
B.Move it to the designated quarantine storage area, separately from other medicines
C.Keep it with saleable stock until the supplier collects it
D.Return it to saleable stock if the package is unopened
Explanation: Paragraph 20 directs expired medicines to the quarantine area specified in paragraph 9(д) of the Russian text, separately from other groups. An unopened package does not restore an expired medicine's eligibility for supply.
10Which storage arrangement is prohibited by paragraph 12 of Order 260n?
A.Using identified shelves for medicine storage
B.Placing medicines on suitable pallets
C.Placing medicine packages directly on the floor without a pallet
D.Using a suitable cabinet for the relevant stock
Explanation: Paragraph 12 prohibits placing medicines directly on the floor without a pallet. The rule also restricts stacking loaded pallets vertically without shelving.

Russia Primary Pharmacy Accreditation — Provisor: Suggested Study Strategy

1Use current dispensing Order 100n, good pharmacy practice Order 259n, storage Order 260n, and compounding Order 249n. Check amendments rather than relying on superseded regulations.
2In prescription examination, assess the applicable form and all required particulars, not just legibility and date.
3Follow each medicine's authorized storage conditions. Order 260n requires daily monitoring including weekends and holidays, or suitable continuous automated monitoring.
4Use the intended user's age, symptoms, history, and other medicines when checking product suitability against authorized instructions.
5For pharmacovigilance, identify the reporting actor and event category before selecting a deadline. Order 3518 paragraphs 21–22 address medical organizations and exclude clinical-trial reactions handled separately.
6Practice compounding and BLS with qualified supervision; calculations and MCQs do not demonstrate practical competence.
