About the EPR Exam
The Examination for Provisional Registration is the Malaysian Medical Council examination for applicants whose basic medical qualifications are not recognized and not listed in the Second Schedule of the Medical Act 1971. EPR replaced the former Medical Qualifying Examination after 2015 and is conducted through an online Examplify theory component followed by an OSCE-style clinical component for candidates who pass theory.
