Under Law on Road Traffic Article 40 and the MPWT FAQ, Category B covers passenger vehicles with not more than nine people including the driver, goods vehicles not over 3.5 tonnes, and towing a trailer not over 0.75 tonnes. It does not authorise motorcycles over 125 cc.
How is the official Category B test structured?
MPWT states that the driving-licence exam has two stages: a computerised theory test, then a practical steering test. Candidates who fail theory cannot take the practical test. MPWT does not publish the theory item count, time limit, or pass mark on the service page.

The MPWT fee table lists 90,000 Riels for Cambodian Category B applicants and 180,000 Riels for foreign applicants. Duplicate or renewal of Type B is 30,000 Riels. Exchanging a valid foreign licence costs 120,000 Riels and yields a one-year Cambodian licence.
Is this practice bank an official MPWT exam or translation?
No. It is independent English-language multiple-choice study by OpenExamPrep for Category B topics drawn from MPWT rules and the Law on Road Traffic. It is not an official paper, not a format simulation of the practical test, and not a substitute for MPWT's Cambodia Driving Rules materials.
