About the GTLE General Professional Knowledge Exam
The General Professional Knowledge (GPK) paper is the core GTLE paper taken by all teacher candidates in Ghana. Per NTC’s official content areas and table of specification, it comprises Essential Professional Skills (40 items), Literacy (30 items) and Numeracy (30 items). EPS covers professional values and attitudes, professional knowledge (policies, curriculum frameworks, learners) and professional practice (learning environment, teaching and learning, assessment).
