About the Egyptian Baccalaureate Business Exam
Law 169 of 2025 and Ministerial Decision 213 of 2025 establish the optional Egyptian Baccalaureate as a three-year secondary qualification beginning in 2025/26. The Business pathway counts four Grade 11 papers—Arabic Language, Egyptian History, First Foreign Language, and either Accounting or Business Administration—plus Grade 12 Advanced Economics and Mathematics, each marked out of 100. Current rules require completion of 60% of weekly and monthly performances and assessments before the first examination opportunity; Grade 11 also includes non-counted Financial Culture and compulsory practical-only Physical Education.
